Planning a wedding can be intimidating and bridal shows and wedding events are no exception It’s heaven to us, but music, invitation, venue, cakes, catering, apparel and any other vendor you can think of all in one place it can be exhausting!  To make sure all you newly-engaged girls get the most out of your bridal show experience we’ve put together a quick list of what to bring do’s & don’ts

Do Bring

  • A bag to collect business card, brochures & vendor give-a-ways.  Many events will provide one, but it’s better safe than sorry
  • Prepare some labels with your Name, address, phone # and email address use them for passport and draws makes going from one booth to the next a lot faster and easier.
  • A friend.  Bring your MOB, MOH, BFF, sister, cousin….someone who can help you sort through it all.
  • A pen & paper.  You may spot an inspiration or idea that you want to jot down to remember later.
  • A camera if allowed. Don’t rely on your cellphone camera to capture the details that are important.

Don’t Bring

  • The groom.  Unless of course he’s a willing participant.
  • Your Wedding Planner Binder.  Most are bulky to carry and you wont need what’s in it.  Put your notes into it later, than you only keep the important information.
  • A long list of questions.  Use this opportunity to meet & greet.  Save the questions for meetings with vendors you decide you like.
  • A negative attitude.  If you’re not in the mood to go to a show, then don’t go! Otherwise, you risk unnecessary frustrations.
